With the launch of the first Construction Apprenticeship Awards ceremony, we were delighted to welcome construction apprenticeship stakeholders from some of the UK’s leading providers and contractors for a magical and comical evening of celebration, recognition, and networking.

Firstly, we would like to extend our thanks to all of the organisers, sponsors, judges, nominees, winners and attendees for making the first year of the Construction Apprenticeship Awards a huge success. A special thank you is also extended to our host and comedian, Justin Moorhouse. 

We were delighted to see so many friendly faces coming back together face to face for an evening of celebrations and recognition, following arguably the most difficult of times following the COVID19 pandemic. 

The evening was a true celebration from start to finish. 

Honoured in front of construction training providers, employers, apprentices and loved ones, on Friday 8th October our nominated apprentices waited patiently, with baited breath whilst our host Justin Moorhouse made us all ‘belly laugh’ with his opening set, starting the evenings proceedings off with laughter and entertainment. 

All of our finalists had gone through a rigorous interview in front of our prestigious panel of judges prior to the awards evening to become top of their category, and finally the wait was over. 

This years’ winners were announced.

Once again, huge congratulations to all of our nominees, finalists and winners.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our fantastic venue hosts. So thank you to Castlefield Rooms at Dukes 92, for the wonderful setting and food provided, and finally to Sterling Event Group for creating a magical atmosphere to celebrate in. 

The evening ended with lots more laughter, celebrations and networking.

We hope everyone who was able to attend this year’s awards evening enjoyed it as much as we did, and we look forward to welcoming you again at next year’s awards evening.
